A proper challenge whether you’re running strong or walking with purpose, the 11km is where Possum magic really comes alive.
You’ll kick things off with a short section to spread the field before settling into flowing trails and finding your rhythm. The course then winds along the river, with the distant roar of Huka Falls rolling through the darkness, a soundtrack that stays with you every step of the way.
After stocking up at the aid station, the adventure builds toward the finale. The final kilometres pull you into the enchanted forest, where glowing trails, night sounds, and atmosphere crank the experience up a notch. From there, the lights guide you home through the finish, delivering that unmistakable Possum buzz - big smiles, loud cheers, and a strong sense of “yeah… that glowed.”
This is the sweet spot.
