With a 5km Fun Run through to a 21km Challenge, we really do have something for everyone!

There’s something mysterious about a night run! Setting off into the dark with nothing but your headlamp and the trail markers to guide you.
At The Possum, we lean into that mystery. With no course maps released, each twist and turn is a surprise.
But don’t worry, we’ve got your back. Head to the event categories below for a sneak peek at what you’re in for.

The Possum is proudly brought to you by Element Events, a team passionate about creating high-quality, unforgettable trail experiences. Safety is at the heart of everything we do, and we’re obsessive about detail, especially when it comes to course marking.

Expect reflective arrows, ribbons, and clear signage to guide you through the night. If you see tape at waist height or yellow ‘X Wrong Way’ signs, you know you’ve gone rogue. Marshals are posted at key intersections to help, and if you need assistance and don’t see one, just flip over your race bib, there's a direct line to event base right there.
